Friendly cafe. Lots of variety of kitchen merchandise and such. Had lunch there with friends. They followed social distancing protocol. Both my friends had the cream of vegetable soup, one with herb scone. The other had the "Adult" grill cheese and she raved about it every bite. I had the mediteranean chicken, with small potatoes and mixed vegetable. It was amazing! The pesto sauce on the chicken made such an impression. Perfectly sized and well seasoned plate. Had take out dessert. Their small coconut cream pie ( still enough for a small slice for 4 when I got home to share) was smooth, well balanced ratio of creamy and smooth layers, with toasted coconut on the top and a plus for me, NOT a regular flour crust but oats and shredded coconut FABULOUS. Would go there again even just for coffee and dessert,as there was a great variety of.

We stopped here when we were just passing through Napanee. I was a huge fan of the cruffins- croissant muffins. The daily flavour was Tiramisu. Omg. So yum! The pastry was very crunchy but also fluffy. We also took a loaf of bread for home, which was rosemary and cheddar, and only half of it made it home because we kept snacking! Fair prices, really nice staff and fresh food. Will absolutely be going back if we are in the area again!

A very full cookery and kitchen shop with a full hot food menu and seating area in the back. We spent a while looking through pantry items and dish ware before settling down to eat our quite delicious food. Very family friendly as well, would definitely recommend if you’re driving through the area.

Despite a long drive home, we decided to find a place to eat that was different from the usual burger and fries. Ellena's Cafe & Pantry seemed to fit the bill. It is barely 3 minutes off Hwy 401 in the town of (Greater) Napanee. The cafe had the perfect vibe. I ordered a delicious curry wrap (chickpeas with optional chicken) and an excellent coffee while my travel partner had the roast beef sandwich and a locally made soda. Seating is in the back and the food was brought out to us. Excellent food and service and very fun looking at all the kitchen items for purchase. I bought 2 cans of the locally made soda and a felted trivet. Looking forward to dining here again soon!

This is our second time here and we absolutely love this cafe! Take a few extra minutes for this small but mighty store as it is packed with anything and everything amazing for your kitchen/home/garden etc! They have an excellent coffee menu along with sweet and savoury treats! Bonus points for Gluten Free options as well! We especially enjoyed chatting with the Interior Decorator (I’m sorry we forgot your name but you were merchandising).. We will definitely make this a regular store and recommend regularly!

This was quite a lovely surprise today when we wandered into this adorable cafe. We made Nappanee our destinations for shopping today and were a little hungry. We both had soup and dessert and coffee and a couple of county sodas and I have to say the soup was absolutely delicious. The bread looked amazing but we didn’t have any and I can hardly wait to go back. Highly recommend this lovely, friendly spot for lunch.....deliciousness all round.

I had a delicious chai latte. I didn't buy a baked good, and when I was handed my latte, there was the tiniest cornbread on the lid, absolutely delicious! The gift shop is well stocked with many unique items.

Ellena’s Cafe is an absolute hidden gem! Tucked inside a charming little community, this place is doing something truly special. The quiche was out of this world—rich, flavorful, and perfectly baked. The pastries here are next level! From beautifully layered croissants to inventive danishes, everything looks (and tastes) like it belongs in a top-tier bakery. On top of the amazing food, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the owner made us feel so welcome. You can tell there’s a real passion behind everything they do here. If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop by—you won’t regret it!
